Niet alleen is La Última Primavera van Isabel Lamberti gelukkig(!) weer in 26 Nederlandse bioscopen te zien in 22 steden, er is weer fijn festivalnieuws uit Italië: Op het oudste internationale filmfestival Rome, het MedFilm Festival, heeft La Última Primavera (Last Days of Spring) de Special Jury Award gewonnen! De jury motiveert haar keuze als volgt: “A film on the crossover between fiction and documentary, like a car assembled with pieces stolen from the reality, driving us in a journey full of sore charm and surprises.”
La Última Primavera won eerder de New Directors Award op het San Sebastián Filmfestival 2020 en werd geselecteerd voor het Cannes Filmfestival onderdeel ACID. Na de première op het Nederlands Filmfestival (selectie Gouden Kalf en Forum) reist de film rond langs diverse internationale filmfestivals, wo in Barcelona, Reykjavik, Gangneung, Zürich, Madrid en, binnenkort, Les Arcs. Na de onderbreking door de maatregelen is La Última Primavera nu weer te zien in de Nederlandse bioscopen!
