Fifteen-year-old Lucas runs away from a secure youth care facility in Amsterdam and goes on the run. Before returning, he visits several places and people together with director Tim Bary. The close bond the filmmaker has quickly developed with Lucas is reflected in the journey, during which they search for a place for Lucas to sleep and visit his mother. Lucas is open about his frustrations and his hopes for a free life. An honest portrait of a boy trapped between two worlds. Where is there a place for Lucas?
