Astronaut
DIRECTOR / ANNELOOR VAN HEEMSTRA
10-year-old Joost has ADHD. Except for his family and teachers, no one knows. At school he has all kinds of special rules because he is “not normal.” And he is afraid that the other children think he is weird. Living with the secret of his disorder weighs more and more heavily on him. The film is a personal outpouring of Joost finally revealing who he really is.
This production came about with support from STIFO, realized as part of Kids & Docs 2008-2009.
