It's raining. A deserted parking lot with neat spaces. A mobile snack bar. A few cars. A fence in front of it. Behind it, the secured area of the runways of Schiphol. The fence also forms the hard dividing line between two worlds. The one of those who stay and the one of those who fly towards adventure. An elderly couple has been fanatically counting the planes for years. But when the wife of the slightly demented man has an innocent fling with the chip shop owner, her husband sneaks out.
