IJswater Films will be attending this year’s edition of the Netherlands Film Festival (NFF) with several films and projects. Two films by Icewater will be screened during the festival: STUFF by Malu Janssen and FATHER by Isabel Lamberti. STUFF has been made within the Kort! (Short!) 2019 project and will premiere during the NFF. FATHER by Isabel Lamberti premiered earlier this year at the Locarno Film Festival and is nominated by the NFF for a Golden Calf for Best Short Documentary.

Furthermore, we will also attend the Holland Film Meeting (HFM) with one project in development: ‘The Dumped’ by Malu Janssen (writer & director) and Joeri Kloppert (co-writer), selected for BoostNL and ‘El Azul Bajo Sus Pies’ by Isabel Lamberti, which is in post-production and selected for HFM. Producers Marc Bary and Steven Rubinstein Malamud and the film makers will be available for the one-on-one meetings with HFM guests and sales experts.

On Saturday the 28th of September, during the NFF, the Day of the Scenario will take place at the Stadsschouwburg Utrecht. During the afternoon, a lecture will be given by Willem Jan Otten, where he will speak about the film ‘In Blue’ by Jaap van Heusden, starring Maria Kraakman (Winner of the Dutch Academy Awards Best Director/Screenplay/Actress 2018).
