It has just been announced that two projects by IJswater Films have been selected for the first development round of Cinema Junior! These two youth films are ‘Charlie Het Bomenmeisje’ (scenario: Lineke van den Boezem and Matthijs van Wensveen, director: Steven Wouterlood) and ‘Gewoon Nick’ (scenario: Jeanine Cronie, director: Nicole van Kilsdonk). Six projects have been selected for this round in total.
Cinema Junior is a collaboration between the Netherlands Film Fund, VPRO, NTR and CoBO and is aimed at the development, realization and distribution of distinctive and original feature films of high cinematographic quality for children in the ages 8 to 12 years and their families.
